I have just made a couple of Hexagonal garden planters approx 12" deep and
12" dia and would like to know what the best sort of plants are to put in
them. I like flowers that are bright in colour and last a long time.

Surfinias are good value - they're a sort of trailing petunia and come in a
wide variety of colours. Be sure to deadhead them.
