Default Fertilizer for Potatoes

I am about to earth over some potato plants....however I did notice
some of them are yellowing. I am going to be covering them in a day or
two but wanted to know what might cause yellowing of the leaves that
have grow so far and what remedies or fertilizer I could use to give
them a boost before covering over.

Thanks
Julie

No they are seed potatoes bought from the garden centre.
