Default Hampton Court Palace flower show tickets online

Anyone else had trouble buying these online? Tried on two different PC's
with two different OS's with two different browsers, in each case part way
through the checkout process (when you put your postcode in), the shopping
basket display near the top of the screen went from 'your basket contains 1
item' to 'your basket contains 0 items' and unsurprising I was unable to
buy. Ended up buying over the phone. There is no email address i could see
to ask what wrong with their site, SWMBO tells me this happened a couple of
years ago as well (maybe we are blacklisted?).

Anyway, I'll be there on the Sunday (great day to buy cheap plants :-)

Have you got your browser set to reject cookies? Most shoping baskets
seem to store info via cookies, so you either have to set your machine
to accept cookies, or set it to accept cookies just from those web sites
you are trying to buy from.

The effect of blocking cookies is exactly as you describe.

But there are otehr explanations too.

No. And I frequently shop on the net without problems. 3 years ago (or maybe
2, the last time we went) I would have had this problem on a Win98 PC with
IE 5.5. Today had it on a XP with IE 6, and also a Win2k with Netscape 7.
Tomorrow I think I'll try it with Firefox on Linux. I dont think its me
somehow.

Except there isa running display on whats in te h shopping basket, it says 1
item for several pages, then asks for your post code, after that it goes to
0. maybe they have blacklisted my street :-)

Are you running Norton Internet Security or a similar firewall?
Look in it's log file after you try to buy tickets.

Can you post the URL of the site that offers Hampton Court Palace
flower show tickets online?

We have two tickets for Hampton Court, July 7th, which we can't use. Be
pleased to pass them on, half-price. They are going to be wasted
otherwise.

LOL. It redirects you to Keith Prose but you start at RHS. Well, I tried
with Firefox on Linux today and it worked (at least shopping basket didnt go
to zero). maybe it is a firewall problem, the PC's in q are running one and
the Linux one isnt. Nothing in the logs though. What do you think is
happening?

Do you want me to try the Keith Prose(??) site? What happens if it
works and I find myself the proud owner of 200 tickets? :-)

It did the same to me using WinXP, Mozilla Firefox with cookies
enabled, Norton Anti Virus with NIS firewall.
Nothing relevant in the Norton Internet Security log that I can see.
