Default Wither on the vine (sort of)

Hi,

I have inherited a Prunus x cistena from the previous house owners so
not sure how old it is.

It blooms each spring with pale pink flowers but when these end the
leaves shrivel and die similar to peach leaf curl.

Is there normally a problem with this shrub and if so can I cure it or
is this lovely plant doomed.

Ta
