Default Mushrooms in Seed Trays

Hi All

For the first time this year, I've been getting small mushrooms sprouting up
in my seed trays - mainly via a batch of organic compost I purchased.

They don't really bother me & I just pull them when they appear. Are they
okay to leave or do they use up a lot of moisture & nutrients?

I leave mine. They don't seem to do any harm, and they are rather
attractive. Though mine don't tend to appear in the seed trays - they
take a bit longer to get to fruiting size, and appear in potted plants.
They'd be a bit of a nuisance ina seed tray pushing seedlings out of
the way.

(I get two types, and only one of them could reasonably be called small
;-) )
