If the tops are brown, it's time to harvest and probably then some. Gary Woods AKA K2AHC- PGP key on request, or at www.albany.net/~gwoods Zone 5/6 in upstate New York, 1420' elevation. NY WO G |

Rajinder Rajinder, A friend of my Mum's told me to plant on the shortest day of the year, and lift on the longest - ie 21 June. Probably an old wife's tale, but it worked last year! Cheers, Andrew |

Harvesting best done by maturity of the plants rather than a specific dates, unless your seasons are far more repeatable than mine! Rajinder The old adage was plant it on the shortest day and harvest on the longest. Having said that if it's brown it's not going to grow much more anyway so maybe now's a good time. It's also only 25 days to the longest day. Duncan |
