During the last couple of days, when I tried to read urg, my inbox has
been cluttered up with more than 28000 posts, all in gobbledegook! I
have unsubscribed and am resubscribing through Google Groups. Does
anyone know what has caused this? My other usenet groups were fine?

This was caused by an attack of Net Nannies in URG, Franz the kraut,
martin the stooge, baraclough the dyke thought they would punish us
all, it backfired and now the group suffered the wrath of the bot
gods. Retribution was swift and certainly worthwhile.

Almost everyone has seen these and there have been several comments. The
reason is idiotic. ;-)
Not just to you but to everyone, I'd like to suggest that not even raising
the matter is the best way of dealing with it.
