over-wintering geraniums and begonias
Would our potted geraniums and begonias last over winter if kept in their
pots inside an unheated conservatory? If so then what other action should be taken - IE cut right back /dead head etc etc?? If not ....then any other ideas for conservation ?? TYIA |

Hi,
We have Geraniums that we place in the greenhouse over winter. Keep them away from the frost and they should survive. The geraniums we have are many years old, the Black Prince is way over 20yrs old, we inherited it from my mother-in-law 20 yrs ago and it is still going well. The greenhouse is not heated, but if it is realy cold then we have a small heater tube (electric) that we put on in there just enough to stop the frost. Good luck Pam "Hawkey" wrote in message ...
