Default Unpalatabel Plants for Possums

Can any one suggest plants that can be grown that won't be ravaged by
the local possum community? I have two garden beds and a multiple
pottted plants that have been munched back to the trunks! I'm not
interested in hurting the possums, just want to grow something that
they don't like...

Funny thing about possums, they are a bit like us..they all have individual
tastes.
I had one visitor that no matter were I planted my parsley, he/it found it
and ate it.
There was another one that came in through the cat door & took ONE bite out
of everything in the fruit bowl, this would happen whilst we are still up &
the lights still on!
There was another one that really loved Sorrel & rose buds, so I am lucky we
don't have a resident Poss at the moment.
Mind you visitors from overseas LOVE them, & I do too, if only I could let
them know what it is OK for them to eat & whats not..
I live in Sydney inner west, so I hate to think what those little critters
get up to further out in those outer suburbs!
Watch out also if you have a compost heap as they love to forage in it when
you're not watching!
Never mind. here in Sydney it is reallky nice to know that there are still
some species that love us.

I feed them reject apples that I get cheaply from the local greengrocer. They leave my plants
alone.
