Bamboo yellowing and drying
I have a bamboo plant in water that I bought last year in a Chinese
restaurant. It flourished at work in the high school classroom last year, throughout the winter, into the spring. In fact, I spent 5 days in the hospital in February. The plant survived without a watering for a solid week. Soon after I brought it home for the summer, tips of the leaves yellowed, and dried out, turning browning. I trimmed off the dried parts of the leaves. Any ideas as to what might have brought this about? I did put it out in direct sun a few times. That may have done it. I've since kept it inside. It's not doing as well as it did in the classroom environment. We return soon to school, so it may well recover then. |
