While we're beating on this horse, let me state that one of my pet peeves is
the rapidly growing number of errors that are caused (Well, at least not
caught) by computer proofing and spell checking, without the use of the
human eyeball and mind.

These lead to errors like:

The web sight

two many

etc. ad nauseum.
