Northern California Bonsai Demonstration Garden, located at Lakeside
Garden Center in Oakland, CA.

Also some of the fine local nurseries, such as Johnny Uchida's Grove
Way Nursery in Hayward, and Yabusaki's Dwight Way Nursery in Berkeley.

Muir Woods, in Marin County, to admire the redwoods.

US 101 between Novato and Petaluma, just a few miles, to enjoy the
live oaks.

Land's End, near the Cliff House in SF, to see wind-blown cypress and
pines.

Oh, there's a very mature industrial park in Foster City, where some
of the landscape trees are perfect expressions of bonsai
styles...well, p'haps not ;-)
