Default [IBC] Jaboticaba issues...

Any insight into what has become a somewhat enigmatic variety
for me would
be greatly appreciated.

I'll start out by saying I know _nothing_ about this species.

However, the symptoms you describe -- especially the sudden
onset -- point to a root problem. Lift the tree from its pot and
examine (and smell) the root mass. It may be something as simple
as being root bound, or it may be something as bad as a root rot
or a viral disease.

If you keep the tree indoors all year, you might try repotting.

This is all assuming that you haven't just repotted it; if so,
what you see may be shock.

'sustainable growth' is an oxymoron. - Stephen Viederman
