Hi gang,

Recently under the thread 'out of print: which do you want re-published?' I
lamented at not being able to find a copy of Bill Valavanis' excellent
treatise on Japanese White Pine, long OOP and I speculate printed in small
numbers.

Well, a contributor to the list emailed me offering to *give* me his copy.

Folks, that is the kind of spirit of generosity that gives me hope. I'm
paying that generosity forward in the hopes that others might be inspired to
do the same. I'm donating $50.00 to the National Bonsai Foundation in his
name. Thanks for letting me share,
