After reading Craig's not on box building, I tought
about what I did yesterday (Sunday the 22nd).

Our club raises money by selling bonsai trees at our
show. We get the materials several ways. 1) each
member is requested to donate 3 trees or $15 per tree
or other bonsai related materials they do not donate.
2) We get donations from other sources. 3) we buy
materials.

Yesterday was our second Planting party. We had a
wonderful donation of old trees. I did nine plantings
and took home some to work on for next year. Got a
couple of old pines that will make good bunjin after
they recover a bit from neglect.

Today, my thumbs are sore, but my mind is happy.
