[IBC] hackberry trunk chop
I would cut now or airlayer as suggested, also take
cuttings. If the wound is .5 inches or bigger, include the resulting scar in to your design. They do no heal invisibly. It has nice trunk size and taper. The Hackberry has not leafed out yet but the buds look like they are about to break open, I want to chop the trunk and put it in a growbox. Should I wait until it has leafed out completely or is now fine? Thanks, Dan Zone 3a ps I almost didn't bother to re-send this reply after your message bounced due to kluged eaddy.
