Default Kermit eggplants

Has anyone ever seen seedlings for sale of these small, round, green
eggplants? I began starting some seed, but just got busy and wasn't
able to see them through. I kept an eye out for started seedlings, but
in my browsing around the northeastern US, I've yet to see any for
sale. The only seeds I've seen come from Johnny's in Maine -- is there
some kind of proprietary breed issue at work?
