How late for planting potatoes

We are moving to a new house in late May from a garden that did not allow (due to size) to have a vegetable garden. We are excited and cannot wait to get started. It has been over 21 years since I last had a veggie garden!! Please tell me when is the latest I can plant potatoes-I am in Central Scotland.
