Default Peach ants

Hi, all. My young peach tree is setting its first fruit this year, and
there are a lot of large black ants eating at the fruit. I'm wondering
if they're living off the fruit, or maybe trying to get at some larvae?
Googling turns up a lot of results on leaf curl and carpenter ants,
these are both different from the problem I'm having of the peaches
themselves getting chewed on. How do I control these?
