Default Strange Plant babies

The top of my tank is covered with green seeds/pods. They are about 1/16"+
long and about 1/32" wide. I haven't noticed any plant explosion, but the
odd pod has four little green spikes pointing out toward the water. Could
these be Water Hyacinth seeds? The only other thing in the tank is Hornwort.

Help, before I'm taken over by the Pods.
