First blooms of this year.

There are those who believe that life here, began out there, far across the
universe, with tribes of humans, who may have been the forefathers of the
Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that they may yet be
brothers of man, who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the
heavens.

Out here in the High Mojave Desert of Calif. they are a normal plant, I've
seen some that can draw water from a place and are almost 6ft tall,
becarefull that no kids are there as it is pure posion even the rabbits
around here don't touch it and I checked my plants an I counded 6 new buds
starting to come out.

Thanks for the tip. Sounds like 'Poke Salad' here, it' really poisonous. I
had a dog once that ate a bit of the root and he was on IV's for three days.
He survived and was fine.

Anyone who has gotten any part of this plant in them is now 6ft under, it's
all deadly from the roots to the leaves and not many bugs bother it either.
