Any guesses at what this is? I know what it is, but I'm curious to see how
many of you can name it.

Triffid.

Ohh, weren't those plants that stung you and ate you? That was an excellent
book!

I mean, 'tater.

I would have guessed that also, except for potatoe flowers are at the top of
the plant.

I think they might be related - potatoe flowers look similar.

Heh - that was too easy....I personally would have never figured it out if I
wasn't growing them. I believe it's tai long green eggplant, fwiw, but I
mixed them up when I planted them.

I decided to plant a couple this year, have never grown them before, looks
like one is developing.

And here's a new picture taken this evening, it's definitely a baby
eggplant!

Very nice! Mine aren't quite that far along. This is my first time
growing eggplants also, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how they are
just exploding out of the ground. I wonder if 25 plants might be too many...

That is a nice pic too. How tall are your plants?

Mmmmm! My Mom used to fry sliced eggplant with onions. I have read that
these are in the "nightshade" family
and not good if you have Arthritis.
Enjoy,
Cheers Wendy

About 18-24" so far, I think. They are in containers with some other stuff.
