Create a new post/message, then look for the word "attach" in your menu(s). If that's not enough help, then please tell us what software you're using to post to newsgroups. It might also help to tell us whether you're on a Mac or if you're using Windows. 8^)~~~~~~ Sue (remove x to email) ~~~~~~~~~ http://suzie-q-wacvet.com/ http://intergnat.com/malebashing/ |

Hi I'm new to this, can someone help me with how to upload a photo? As you aren't using a newsreader to come to this newsgroup direct it's a bit more difficult. gardenbanter have a way you can download a photo to their servers and then post a link to it here. Look it up on Gardenbanter's web site. Alternatively come here direct by using your e-mail program (Windows Mail?), usually newsreaders too, via your ISP's News server. Most ISP's have instructions on their web sites about how to set this up and you would then have over 100,000 newsgroups on every subject known to man (and some that aren't!) to enjoy. If you use web based mail too there is no hope for you. :-) -- Regards Bob Hobden W.of London. UK |

What is GardenBanter? It's a Web Site that takes feeds from lots of Newsgroups about gardening and puts them on their own site. So, everything you post here and elsewhere is on their web site. Because of that a lot of people who go there think the Gardenbanter gardening experts are very good when it's just Gb cashing in on our expertise which we give on Newsgroups for free. Quite a high percentage of Internet users think it all starts and stops with the www, they don't even use an e-mail client program, whereas we know about Usenet which predates that. -- Regards Bob Hobden W.of London. They in the process fool a lot of dummies who never bother to check things out. Just ignorance I suppose, but they could do better. |

Once you are signed up, there's butten to press to upload photos from your computer to that site. When they have uploaded to their site, all you need to do is copy and paste the URL onto a reply or thread on this site, from the photobucket site. Here's a link to photobucket.... Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket And here's a youtube tutorial for photobucket ... YouTube - ‪Tutorial for using photobucket to post pictures‬‏ Hope this helps :-)
