Default My Jack and the beanstalk plant-6283

Actually it is a Trailing Lotus (Lotus berthelotii).
(It's the plant with orange flowers in the photo)
I planted it at the end of September last year, as a fill in plant, not
knowing it was going to grow and grow and....
We measured it today and it is 5 metres x 4 metres and covered in flowers.
Sure makes a great ground cover. :-)

It's often sold/grown over here as a hanging basket plant and thrown away at
the end of summer. To see it as it should be grown is wonderful, thanks.

Thanks Bob, it's amazed us as to how quickly it has spread.
