If your phone number is a listed one, one can type it in google and your
name, addy, city, state and zip will come up along with a yahoo map link to your house. -- J. Mine pops up with only my county road number which is unsearchable.
Residential phone reps can either do the same for any listed number or even remove the address from the book.
