LeeAnne, I'm so jealous! I woke up to below zero temps and snow again. I'm
trying to keep my flowers beds covered for at least another month yet. It's
way too early here for them to thaw but I did spot a tulip sprout yesterday.
We're supposed to hit back to minus teens C for the weekend so I have to
keep everything frozen. Enjoy your blooms... gives me faith that I might
eventually see mine!

My crocus have bloomed already, the neighbor's daffodils are now in bud,
and mine are following pretty closely. The best part is that a vast
majority of the plants I didn't think would make it past this winter
look like they have. Even my baby clematis from last year are going
great guns.

I am, however, worried about my Verbena Sissinghurst. Although it is
claimed to be hardy to at least zone 6, I'm afraid it bit the dust in
the winter we just had. A shame too, as it had done a truly magnificent
job last year.
