Default Clematis Question

I have my clematis planed around my deck (4ft from ground w/lattice around
bottom). They grow well on the lattice work. They are spaced anywhere from
3 to 4 feet apart. If anybody gets out of hand, I just trim them back.
Haven't had any trouble with them tangling together or any other
maintenance. They bloom like crazy all summer.

I have spent too much time looking for simple information!!

I can plant my clematis now in zone 7. I don't foresee any more
freezes. How far apart do they need to be? THANK YOU!

Default Clematis Question

I'd plant them about 2 1/2 ft. apart.
