My friend ask me if i could find out how to prun or cut grape vines.
He also would like to know how to start growing them

If I were you I would get on the intdernet and type in "pruning grapes".
You will get a lot of hits, but I would select one from a college near you.
When you get the information to come up, print it and give them to your
friend. He needs to do it while they are dormant.

do a search. this is a visual thing. I like the curtain method of running the
standard straight up to 8 feet and then two arms out on either side about 3-4 feet.
