What to do with a whole bunch of inherited daffodil plants still in the
little containers? I was given a couple dozen. The bloom is done for
the year and I'd like to store the bulb or whatever for next year.
Well, I'd just hate to throw them away. Let them dry out, then keep in
the garage?

they have to be planted and the green leaves store up food for the bulbs. Ingrid

The BEST solution is to plant them in the ground now. Leave the foliage
on them until it turns yellow. Pick a place that gets at least half a
day of full sun and you will be able to enjoy your Daffodils for many,
many years.
