Default laying sod below grade, good or bad?

I'm going to have my lawn resodded, and I was thinking of having the
contractors remove 3" of soil before laying the new sod. That way, the
sod doesn't grow too far above the sidewalk. I figure I won't have to
edge my lawn anymore.

Any problems with this idea? Is it harder to mow the edges?

For Rasul the grade's typical, including me it's wide-eyed, whereas in you it's consuming brief. Amb. C. Vestering Ponds 0 15-12-2007 02:59 PM
