Default Mecroprop (MCPP) for St. Augustine

I noticed that a weed control ready to use bottle stated it would be
safe for use on St. Augustine since MCPP was one of the ingredients.
However, i was reading a Scott's weed and feed lawn fertilizer bag
whch contained MCPP and it said it was not safe to use on St.
Augustine. The percentage of MCPP in the bag was higher than in the
ready to use bottle.Could the higher percentage of MCPP be the reason
it couldn't be used on St. Augustine? Or maybe because it is used with
the fertilizer and subjected to burning?
