Default Hydrangea question

My old fashioned hydrangea flowers do not turn white. Mostly they stay green.
It matters not if they get some sun or no sun or full sun. What's up??

Consider yourself lucky.....there is a new type of hyrangea flower on the
market (can't remember the name) but it stays lime green so now you have a
current trend hydrangea.

They dry quite nicely also because they appear more "alive" than the white
ones which brown when dried. Good luck.
