Default Protect Tree Stumps

One stump is a real tree stump still in the ground. I have 6 others
that are cut and movable. I would like to protect all of them from
insect damage and rotting. Thanks again.

Gotta ask a dumb question. Are these stumps still rooted in the soil or cut
off and movable? If they're cut, an epoxy resin will do the trick. Two
compounds that, when mixed, will seal ANYTHING forever! Looks like fifty
coats of varnish.
