Cactus identification?
My mom has been growing this thing in a window pot in her apartment. She
has no idea what it is. Obviously it is some sort of cactus. Can anyone identify it? http://home.houston.rr.com/snaps/cactus.jpg |

Looks like a carrion flower (Stapelia). The flowers smell awful and
flies will often lay eggs in the flower. It is a succulent. On Sun, 17 Oct 2004 12:45:29 GMT, "Bubba" wrote: My mom has been growing this thing in a window pot in her apartment. Obviously not a cactus at all.
Its Orbea variegata, a Stapeliad, a stem succulent member of the Milkweed family from South Africa. "Bubba" wrote in message ... My mom has been growing this thing in a window pot in her apartment.
