Default Sprinkler placement

I am about to (re)install sprinklers in small area 32x15x33x8. It's almost
rectangular with one side 15' and the other 8'. This lawn area rans along
the concrete patio on the 32' side and a concrete walkway on the 15' side.
There are three tress on the 33' side. I am having a hard time laying out
the sprinklers in this odd shape. I am bouncing back between 6 and 8 foot
spacing. I want to avoid getting the patio wet.

My questions a
You can see the current layout he www.riverproperties.com/lawn.gif

How important is head to head coverage in a area this small?
How many sprinklers should water a given area? Right now it ranges from 2-4,
with more coverage in the middle than the sides. It looks terrible to me on
paper, but I don't know how much it matters in this small area. I am using
Rainbird 1804 pop up heads. The spray nozzles are 12 ft.

Thanks for any help.
