Help to save my apple tree...
My daughter ran into my apple tree with the lawn mower and damaged it.

You can find some help by googling for "tree damage" and "repair". I found this site that looks pretty promising. http://www.kbs.msu.edu/extension/storm If you search on "tree pruning sealer", you can find commercial products that can be used to protect cracked or removed branch stumps.
