Default putting down grub killer

In the RDU area is it too early or too late or do it now to put out grub
killer on one's lawn or flower beds. Any opinions?

If you are planning on putting something down now, I would use Merit
(imodiclopriad ? sp). There should be enough residual to work on the late
summer grubs. It's a good product.
