Default QOS Show - a magnificent Dendrobium affine

Sorry about the size of the file- I couldn't resist. Just look at the size of
the plant (some 2' tall), & look at the flower count. My poor little affines
are maybe 9" tall for the biggest, & perhaps 8 or 10 blooms :-( It really
is a beauty.

I can see why you couldn't resist, and I'm so glad you gave in to your
baser instincts! It's fantastic. And yours will grow up, after all!

They will grow yet, Diana. But these plants (including the bigibbums below) are
something really special. Most of us look at them & mutter "Why do we bother?"
Then we remember that, though we simply can't grow them that well, we get a real
kick out of what we do achieve.

Ross Harvey (Cedarvale) brings some of his along to our meetings & benches them
"not for judging" - so we can see what can be possible, without overshadowing
all ours. And while that may sound arrogant, it's not at all meant that way. We
all admire his plants, & wish.
