Sights at the Redland Festival

Funny about the bugs. We have heard that too, and always go armed for it. But we have never had a problem. I suspect that the gnats people talk about are there because of all the fruit trees. Next year I loaded up on Off - but there were no bugs to repel with mild temps and a nice breeze! Di, What day did you go? The place looks empty! I can't believe a Miltoniopsis for 12 bucks! You can't touch 'em for under $20 here. K |

Ya, it would have been hard for me too to duck & click!
Thanks ever so for showing us the sights. Cheers Wendy "Diana Kulaga" wrote in message ... I confess that I spent more time looking and ducking into tents than I did taking photos, but here are a few. I'll make it one thread. Diana |

Sights at the Redland Festival
We went Friday morning. We were there by opening time and still weren't the
first in. You're right about the crowd. We always go at the same time (gotta get the good stuff!), and this year was nowhere near as crowded. Having said that, I read an article from one of the Miami papers, and the writer stated that she had to park over 1100 feet away on Saturday, so it did get crowded. There are always bargains. You can spend too much for things if you don't shop around, but there are terrific deals and loads of things you don't see anywhere else. The only other festival that I think is as good (if not as big, but big enough) is the one Martin Motes runs late in January in Miami. I'll put a bus together for that one, and we'll go on Friday, the first day. D "K Barrett" wrote in message ... Diana Kulaga wrote: Funny about the bugs.
