I am looking for Grammatophyllum scriptum 'leopard' seedling or what ever I
can find. If anybody out there knows where I might find one please let me
know. Thanks

And Oak Hill (in Illinois) used to have them. If they have any left
they are probably pretty good size.

Last I heard, Oak Hills had the Grammatophyllum scriptum crinitum. Since all
Grammatophyllums (the largest of all orchids I believe) are pretty large in
scope, hope you have plenty of room.

In a somewhat related note, we'll have Gramm. speciosum available
in sterile tubes in a few weeks or months.

Shortly after that, it will swell to gargantuan proportions and
swallow your greenhouse. Surely heaven and mercy shall follow.

A "Google" search configured as below came up with several dealers
with the species for sale.

"Grammatophyllum speciosum" price

I have tried that search (tried again this morning)
I see 4 dealers.
one no longer has it

One is a dealer i had previous trouble with. I ordered an orchid that I
recieved with root rot, and took a few months to nurse back to health, so I
am very wary of reordering from him.

one has an incorrect identification (or at least he has a picture of the
wrong plant)

There is a foreign one, but I don't have an import license. I will try and
acquire one soon I really love the genera.

But i do appreciate your help, and if you hear of anything, I'd love to
know.
