Hi,

I was wondering, does anyone know of any Canadian suppliers of Physan 20?

Cheers,

Look and ask around in your local area, there should be some kind of
"Farmers and consumers market bulliten" (least thats what they call it
here in GA) ours comes out every two weeks and is also avil on the
web. Or there is allways EBay

Used greenhouse, unless you're very lucky you may get old looking for
something local. I've been looking for a few years now. I have found a few
but they have never been local and required disassembly which isn't too bad
till you go to Uhaul. In most cases you could buy a greenhouse new cheaper
than renting a Uhaul truck to cart a used one across country. I've found a
couple local (the lean-to kind you find on restaurants) however the scrap
value is worth more than their time to wait for someone to take it down.
ARRGGHH! Give me an upset stomach just thinking about that.
If you have a Harbor Freight store near you they had and ad for the
following green house priced at $299. To see it just put the item number in
the search box. The on line price is higher than the local store prices. Oh
yeah someone on Ebay was selling this for $500 using the same picture.

This url has used greenhouses listed but they are usually very big.

I whish you a whole lot of luck in your quest.
Grow well and bloom magnificently

For a greenhouse that small, you're probably better off just building a
new one from scratch. Most greenhouse glazing has a limited lifespan,
and I'm not sure that a used frame would be worth the cost or effort to
transport.

One of the members of our local society built himself quite a nice
greenhouse about that size with a cedar frame (pressure treated would
have been even cheaper) and two layers of greenhouse poly, one stapled
to the outside of the frame and one stapled to the inside. It can't
have cost more than a couple of hundred dollars and is probably better
insulated than the small greenhouse kits.

Xi,

Go to the Physan 20 website.
Find the chemical or ingredient makeup.
Go to a farm supply store and look in the dairy/horse chemical section and
you should find a product with the same ingredients under a different brand
name. That labeled for horses will be likely be less expensive, probably
because it doesn't recquire the same testing as that to be used for dairy
use.

Yes that's a good idea, and swimming pool algicide will do the same job
at a fraction of the price of Physan
