Hello everyone,
I got an oncidium from a building supply place, (I know, it's a crap
shoot getting them from such places but nothing else available locally
& cheap!) & it turned out to have NO good roots at all once I got it
out of the pot. It's now recovering, but I'd like to know what its
proper name is.
The tag says, "Onc. (Makaii x Ormithochynchum) Boso Swe"
Aside from the obvious typo, I did a web search & have found Oncidium
Makaii and Makalii both; Makalii goes with Boso Sweet, but Makaii does
not. I couldn't find a picture of any Makaiis. The one pic I found of
Makalii Boso Sweet is tiny but from what I can tell it looks like this
one. I posted the photos on abpo. Can anyone confirm this poor
rescuee's proper name?
