ID this tree
ID this tree for me, growing in Santa Fe. Quite a lovely specimen. Needles
are prickly and dense, closely protruding branches. May be a Spruce. http://home.earthlink.net/~gnarlodious/MysteryTree/ -- Gnarlie's virtual Tour de Santa Fe http://www.Gnarlodious.com/SantaFe/Tour.php |

ID this tree
Yes, I'd also say this was a Giant Sequioa (=Sierra Redwood or
Wellingtonia), Sequioadendron giganteum. Quite a young tree from the shape (30-40 years???). Mature trees have a less conical form, with a rounded top Andy.
