Default What berries are these?

This shrub is growing in Sydney in the ex garden of a fellow that
liked to grow Australian bush food.

The berries are about the size of elderberries and have a sweet,
slightly aromatic taste.

Can't find them in the two standard lookup books by Cribb and Low.
