Default frog crocking

The frogs in my pond are in fine tune February and March of each year during
the breeding season. They don't make any sounds during the rest of the year
which I believe is normal for the Common Frog. Over the last couple of weeks
I have herd one frog crocking early in the evenings. The sound is a little
faster tempo than in the breeding season. I was wondering if this could be
a different spices come to visit?
