Algae growth on fish
Can anyone let me know if algae growing on fish is detrimental or if it
often occurs following winter? I have two blue orfe who have some algae / blanket weed which seems to have attached them. My other fish; koi, Goldfish, comets, shubunkins, golden orfe remain unaffected. The fish look healthy otherwise. I have only just begum feeding wheatgerm to the fish. the pond is more or less clear water with some short blanket weed on th esides only. my pond is located in Scotland. regards john |
