Does anyone know how to get rid of ants around a pond without harming the fish?
I have ants in my plants also! Plants, not pants! LOL! |

In a large bucket, mix hot water, a good squirt of dish soap, and a can of orange juice concentrate or whatever citrus juice you may have on hand. Pour it all around. It doesn't get rid of the ants, but it sure makes them taste nice :-) YP |

You can get these baited ant stakes, where the poison is enclosed and can't
blow or leak into the pond. I've found them to work really well by putting one stake every 4 feet between the rock edge and the sod. ~ jan See my ponds and filter design: http://users.owt.com/jjspond/ ~Keep 'em Wet!~ Tri-Cities WA Zone 7a To e-mail see website -----------== Posted via Newsfeed.Com - Uncensored Usenet News ==---------- http://www.newsfeed.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----= Over 100,000 Newsgroups - Unlimited Fast Downloads - 19 Servers =----- |
