As we (well most people) seem to be agreed that any moderation should be
done on content and not personality or past posting history it is
irrelevant whether someone has read the archives or not....or has any
knowledge of what went on with rec.ponds itself...

We'll see how this works out. Seems someone's already dumpster-dived the
NYM Zebulon to see where else I may have posted. If past history and the
fact a rec.pond poster may be posting to a "GASP" group the *potential*
moderators don't "approve" of is already being done.... well, you get the
point. ;-)

"Nuff said. I know about back channeling Gill. I've been online a long

What point is that? Carol, we _know_ you post to other groups and it's a
safe bet that many people don't approve of what you post there. So what?
You will _not_ be able to post to any irrelevant groups at the same time
you post to rec.ponds.moderated. Do _you_ get the point?

One can only thnk of what may follow a person in this or other groups
if they are a agitator and have a love affair for some trashy groups.
You would certianly not associate with a pedo or a porn lover in real
life out in the open and in view of others would you, heck no and I
certainly would not do it on the usenet either, its called principals
and morales.........

What point is that?

The point that some people just have to dumpster-dive to see where others
post. What's the true purpose of doing that? Why would they care and waste
their time?

Carol, we _know_ you post to other groups and it's a
safe bet that many people don't approve of what you post there. So what?

EXACTLY! That's the point. So what? Why do they care? I couldn't care
less if I tried where other people post. Why should anyone care where I
post? Besides, even if we dumpster-dived everyone on the group we'd still
miss groups if they nym-changed elsewhere.

You will _not_ be able to post to any irrelevant groups at the same time
you post to rec.ponds.moderated. Do _you_ get the point?

Of course.
