Default Help with what i need to start a pond?

I have never had a pond before. What am I going to need to build one? I want
a waterfall and I want it to be safe for fish but I don't want to have any
water plants. What chemicals am I going to need to keep the water clear? Oh
and is it easier to use a preformed pond or a pond liner? Thanks for the
help.

No chemicals. Your goal should be to learn about keeping fish without the use
of chemicals.
I'll give you some webpages to read.
