Raising Worms for fish food

Over time we have tilled landscaping beds, gardens, etc. We also keep a compost heap of garden and yard waste which gets mixed into the beds every year. What I am getting at, in a long winded way, is that now that we have been working the beds...the worms are EVERYWHERE!!! I suggest you get a nice compost pile going. Use grass clippings, newspaper, coffee grinds, egg shells, etc. If you pile it...they will come. BV. I have a compost bin but it's on concrete. I have no room on dirt for it. Is there another way like a trap to get worms to feed my fish? Sacha |

I'd suggest you start taking your compost from your current bin, and as it breaks down, pile it somewhere in our yard...or till it in to the soil somewhere in your yard. Eventually, you will an area with great soil...and great worms. BV. |
